Let’s have A Very Naughty Xmas

For a naughty but nice treat for the older children this Christmas, you couldn’t go far wrong with A Very Naughty Christmas

This scrumptious assortment of Christmas cabaret, stand-up comedy, burlesque and naughty musical theatre is showing at the Southwark Playhouse (Elephant) this festive season.

It has already had a successful run in Australia and now looks set to take on any stuffiness in British audiences.

Be prepared for flesh, glitzy lingerie and some rolling around on the floor, which all jumbles up in a marvellous fleshy, comedic, musical mess to ring Christmas with more red and green than you can shake a stick at.

Expect bawdy jokes and flashes of bum, but nothing that would make a cool granny wince. I expect she’s seen more in her life than some cheeky performers flashing a bit of leg.

You will also be treated to an array of fabulous comedic and more sincere vocal performances, including a show stopping performance of Mr Grinch and a tongue in cheek rhyme not out of place on the Rugby stands.

Not to mention some traditional versus pumping beat carols.

I expect this show to be a hit, even if many claim it as a guilty pleasure.
