Have you ever seen such a generous Bento box?

Recently opened Elements sushi is a bargain find as far as Japanese food goes in London. The Bento boxes pictured come in at just over £15 per person and includes Miso soup.

The meat is cooked to perfection (where cooking is required) and the duck is simply mouth watering. You can also sample Japanese lemonade, which is a bit of a mystery to open at first and also less sweet than your normal western lemonade.

There is also an array of noodle dishes and straight sushi that can be charged per serving or in a set. The sashimi is also very good.

The staff are friendly and understanding when you do something stupid like spill your lemonade on the wall, oops…

It is a bit hidden away, as it doesn’t scream at you from the outside, but it is worth discovering.

I would go back in a minute if I wanted an affordable treat for the night in nice surroundings.

Go with friends for a low key night out.

Elements sushi is situated on the opposite side of the road to Streatham Hill station as you head towards Brixton.
