Banquet fit for a King

Enzo on Brick Lane is as unassuming looking as many of its neighbouring curry establishments.

It is quite spacious, spread over two decent sized rooms and the walls are simple yet decorative.

The food is a mix of Asian styles, including sushi, which I did not try.

Their red curry comes recommended and can be made with a mix of meats or as a vegetarian dish.

Their sirloin grill is not your average stake, it comes diced, flavoured and with a chilli sauce (a very hot one).

An honourable mention goes to their jasmine rice, which is among the most fragrant I have had of its kind.

I would even rate the rice over the main dish in terms of quality, yet that itself was mouth watering, so you get the picture.

The cocktails are strong and very reasonably priced, I would advise you sip and savour rather than knock them back.

They have set meal offers, but even without these you will be paying around £15 or less for a main meal.

They have a fully stocked bar with a choice of fancier whiskeys if that is your tipple.

I could happily have spent a longer evening here.

If you fancy something spicy, filling and affordable, you have a great option in this establishment.

Enzo can be found located at 124 Brick Lane, London E1 6RU.
